Doom 3

I just re-installed Doom 3 (yesterday) and It's just as scary as I remember it. I don't know how id software did it, but they managed to make a frightening game.

Bright morning

Just woke up. It's pretty bright outside.

Feel like playing some Battlefield 2. I've gotta' re-install Doom 3 at some point. It's really fun, but sincerely scary at the same time.

What do you have planned on your Sunday?

Late night

Nothing eventful today. Now I'm just printing a bunch of stuff and playing Battlefield 2. Currently, I am AFK while the match is continuing. I love being a medic.

You guys ever game all-nighters? I did once or twice I think. The one I remember the most was when me and my friend stayed up playing Shaolin Monks until like 4 in the morning. Good times.

Finished with work

Why am I making so many blogs in one day? It's not like anyone's reading them. Anyway, this probably might be the last one I write for today.

Anyways, I finished with some of my work. A paper. Not too bad, considering that it's double-spaced. I wonder if teachers actually take the time to read over essays? Strange.

I've been playing more of Bioshock and MAG lately, maybe because I just got them recently. Like five or six days ago, I think. Bioshock is kind of like Doom 3, except that you have special powers. In Doom 3, I think the only special power you got was the Soul Cube, which you only got one of, but it cuts through anything and everything in your way. I didn't use it much though.I mostly used the assault rifle or the shotgun, although the shotgun in this game sounds pretty weak. I'd much rather prefer the Super-Shotgun from the Ressurection of Evil expansion pack. I tried this mod to allow you to use that shotgun in Doom 3, but it didn't work. Oh well.

That was more than a year ago, and I never finished that game. I really want to, but I'm to lazy to re-install it. Been playing Battlefield 2 on my PC instead.

By the way, I'm stuck on this part in Bioshock. It's just past the Tea Gardens, but you're supposed to find some special plant or something, I'm not too sure on the objective. Freaking RPG Sentry keeps killing me, and I have no more Health or medpacks to use. Not to mention that I am running really low on EVE.

Afternoon of a Saturday

So I just finished reading three more chapters of Sherlock Holmes and the Sign of the Four.Something like that, I forgot the title. The story is actually pretty engaging. If you just sit down and listen to Sherlock Holmes' train of thought in solving a case, it's amazing. He's got a real knack for that kind of thing.

Did you know that some people believe that Sherlock Holmes was a real person? I mean there might have been at least one person in history named Sherlock Holmes, he probably wasn't a detective who solved puzzling cases with a doctor named John Watson. If there was such a person, I'm sure it would just be an amazing coincidence.

But then again, I don't really believe that life has coincidences.

I'm writing this on an afternoon of today. A Saturday. The sun still fills the sky, but nothing strikes my fancy. Perhaps next weekend will hold something more exciting for me.

What Runs Through My Mind

Hi all. I'm not really sure how many people are going to be reading this, but it' worth a try isn't it? At least I hope so.

As of right now, I have a lot of things that run through my mind. Things such as school work, music, friends, videos, inventions, film ideas, games. Oh, gaming. You are the bane of my existence. Actually, the bane of my existence would be...well, me.

I'm not a masochist, or a pessimist.

Have you guys seen that movie, "The Social Network"? The guy's a genius, but it's not completely accurate.

It'd be cool to be able to write script and code. I was planning on taking a course in that area, but it seemed way too tedious to me. I'm more interested in making films. On that note, one of my friends (well two of them) (they're working together) are working on a film that is very similar to my old abandoned project. It was supposed to be a war story (not unlike Saving Private Ryan), but due to a lot of miscommunication (ugh...a couple of months of my life wasted) and basically lack of support, it failed. That's not to say that I'm just going to blame everyone else. No, most of it was my fault. I should never have fallen for her. Her.

Anyway, my friends are now working on a new film. I admire their enthusiasm and determination, but I could already see a lot of flaws in their plans. Oh well, we'll see how this develops.

Signing out

PS: I might do this every Saturday, or every other day. I'm not so sure, but thanks for listening.
